Kohli bagged 86 off 84 balls, while Rohit made 72 off 81 balls. This partnership helped India chased down the target easily in 35.2 overs and take a 1-0 lead in the series. Rohit bagged his 19th ODI fifty off 53 balls as India reached the 100-run mark in 15.3 overs.
Kohli weaved his innings with nine boundaries and two huge sixes, while Rohit's innings was decorated with eight hits to the fence and one over it.
West Indies bowlers failed to shine as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s attacking approach from the beginning took the game out of the visitor's grasp.
